Jersey City Morris Canal
WALK the WALKWAY
Jersey City – Morris Canal – March 21, 2026
We partnered with the Hudson County Sierra Club and the Canal Society of New Jersey to walk the Hudon River Walkway section of the Morris Canal Greenway. The partnership was a great success where the leaders of the walk stressed environmental activism for preservation of open space for the enjoyment, health and well-being of the public.
Jersey City Councilwoman Eleana Little joined the walk today (3rd on lower left)

The Walk ended at the Colgate Clock on the Walkway beside Exchange Place, a 50-foot diameter octagonal landmark built in 1924, and the 4th largest clock in the world.
