From Aug 24, 2026 to Sept 30, 2026, a section of the Walkway (WW) near the Hackensack/Palisades Hospital will be rerouted. There will be signage to indicate the temporary route. It is between the Heliport and The Views at Hudson Pointe. Palisades Hospital is replacing stormwater drainage pipes that currently get backed up allowing the river to backflow into the hospital parking lot. They will be repairing cracks and areas of the WW as well. We wish they will replace the WW with a surface that is sustainable for years and save the hospital the cost of constant repairs. The WW at the hospital is also not built to specification while its neighbor The Views at Hudson Pointe is!
